5. Chakra, The Throat Chakra
Vishuddha Chakra (Vishuddhi = clean)
5.Chakra, the throat chakra is located at the level of the larynx. It stands for truth-finding and communication. For our relationships, this means that we have learned to bring harmony into our environment through conversation. Physical symptoms in a blocked throat chakra, are thyroid disorders, neck pain or speech disorders. Also inhibitions and a lack of expressiveness point to problems in this area.
In the following table we summarized for you the most important information and assignments corresponding to the this chakra:
In the throat chakra, there is the center of communication and creative self-expression, self-determination and independence. Here we open ourselves to subtle dimensions, can receive the messages of the inner voice and spiritual inspiration and come into contact with the indwelling spirit.
In a fully open chakra, feelings, thoughts, and inner insights are expressed openly without fear. One is able to show weaknesses as well as strengths. This chakra also shows if a person is capable of accepting what is offered to him.
If the throat chakra is disharmonic, then the life and the feelings that are offered can not be accepted. Often this is compensated with mistrust. One regards the world as a hostile place. One is cautious and has negative expectations about what to expect. One expects hostility, violence or humiliation rather than love and food. Since one builds up with these expectations a negative force field around oneself, one also attracts negative experiences, according to the law “like attracts like”.
The activated vishuddha chakra expresses itself in a strong ability to communicate. This does not mean superficial chatter, but the ability to understand oneself and others, and to make oneself understandable to others.
An active throat chakra that enables people to listen. He is willing to discuss and able to talk about his feelings. People with a balanced throat chakra are very creative and open to inspiration.

People whose vishuddha chakra is blocked are unable to communicate, express their ideas, opinions, and beliefs, and thus engage in verbal exchanges with others. This inhibition is expressed in shyness, speech blockades and also the inability to listen to the other.
